Performance Analysis is necessary when low performance levels or operational problems are detected in pumps, compressors (centrifugal and reciprocating), steam turbines, and dynamic machinery in general. This equipment is assessed as for their mechanic and process conditions, including performance and failure occurrences. The analysis, which relates efficiency, performance, and failures, is carried out for identifying the main cause for existing problems, and for defining recommendations and actions that may provide a solution.
